What my customers say
Let customers speak for us
from 8 reviews A top knife and a top belt case, that's real joy.
Everything is well made and very clean, I am more than satisfied with the knife.
I was really looking forward to the knife. When it arrived, perfection was complete. Fantastic, sustainable packaging and a truly amazing, personalized knife that looks and feels very high-quality. Made with love. Thank you for the great product!
The knife arrived after about a two-week wait. It was beautifully packaged and even included a screwdriver for adjusting the sheath. The knife itself, as far as I can tell, is top-notch, especially because of the beautiful sheath. The only drawback: It's not exactly cheap.
It looks great and feels great in the hand. It was also sharpened to a very high standard. The price is reasonable considering it's handmade, and the engraving was included.

Can I carry the knives I bought here in public in Germany?
According to the German Weapons Act §42a paragraph 3, it is not permitted to carry knives with a one-handed lockable blade or fixed-blade knives with a blade length of more than 12 cm in public in Germany.
Exceptions are made if the knife is carried in connection with the exercise of a profession, the preservation of traditions, sport or a generally recognized purpose.
This means that my fixed knives with blade lengths under 12cm, as well as my Pocket knives with blades compliant with Section 42a are not subject to the law and can generally be carried in public.
Exceptions to this include the general ban on carrying knives at public events, in prohibited zones, etc.

Which knife steel should I choose?
Stainless knife steel:
If you want an easy-care, stainless knife, you should choose the Swedish steels Uddeholm AEB-L and Sandvik 14C28N. These are excellent steels originally developed for the production of razors.
Powder metallurgical steel:
If you want to get even more out of your stainless steel knife, you should choose powder metallurgical steels like Böhler M390. These are even more wear-resistant than stainless knife steels, but also significantly more expensive.
Carbon steel:
For connoisseurs who regularly care for their knives and don't mind the blade tarnishing over time, we offer carbon steels like 1.1274. These steels aren't stainless, but they're incredibly sharp and easy to resharpen.

How are your knife sheaths constructed?
The sheaths for my outdoor knives are made of a plastic (Kydex) and are covered, riveted and hand-stitched with cowhide.
The pockets for the pocket knives do not have a plastic core and are made of 3mm thick cowhide leather, which is hand-stitched with a double seam.
